I love the innovative challenges, especially the one the preclude  
real writing talent.  Here's mine.

Some things is most peculiar. 
 
"It had gone one for weeks like that.  Lacroix would allow Nicholas  
in his presence but would not acknowledge him.  Nicholas, for his  
part, did anything and everything he could to earn any kindness from  
his master.  The enormous bouquet of snow-white roses had been tossed  
into the street.  The original Da Vinci sketches very nearly met  
their end in the fireplace, but were instead sold cheaply.  Lacroix  
had thoroughly and comprehensively shot down Nick's every attempt at  
an apology.  Even presenting himself naked but for a slave collar had  
no affect.  Lacroix simply picked up whatever item he had come in  
search of and left, as always without speaking or giving Nicholas so  
much as a cruelly cold glare.  Six simple letters had torn them  
apart, an erroneous name called out in the heat of passion.  Many  
things could be forgiven, and had been in the past, but "Screed"?"
